ABOUT THE COMPANY:

Complete Belting Solutions Pty Ltd is an Australian conveyor and asset maintenance management company that manufactures and supplies products and services to industrial, quarry and mine sites across Australia, and we are seeking experienced belt technicians/splicers to join our Melbourne team.

This prospect will see you:

- Belt splice and undertake conveyor belt repairs - fabric, steel cord, PVC and speciality lightweight
- Undertake belt / roller / conveyor system / conveyor cleaner installation, conveyor maintenance, replacement and refurbishments – workshop and on site
- Undertake breakdown, shutdown and project work
- General workshop duties, including dispatch, stock management, maintenance tasks, paperwork, etc (where applicable)
- Ensure that CBS belt splicing procedures and standards are followed and upheld
- Maintain customer relationships onsite
- Ensure that the company's workplace health and safety policies are upheld and that obligations are met

Suitable applicants will possess the following skills:

- Minimum two years' experience as a qualified belt technician
- Demonstrated knowledge of belt manufacturing, splicing and installation processes (as applicable)
- Sound conveyor product knowledge




- Commitment to the highest Work Health Safety and Environment standards in all activities, with the ability to apply workplace health and safety policies and procedures
- Commitment to quality workmanship and concern for job-turnaround and customer downtime
- A strong work ethic and ability to follow instruction as well as work well as an individual or as part of team, especially when under pressure
- A responsible attitude, with a willingness to be held accountable
- A willingness to work overtime (including weekends)
- A valid driver licence
- A current forklift licence will be looked upon favourably
- Possessing the following qualifications would be an advantage: confined space; Working Safely at Heights; EWP; White Card
- Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
