DJS Melbourne Plumbing Solutions is a well-established plumbing company based in Thomastown. We provide plumbing services across metropolitan Melbourne and surrounding areas.

Our work includes insurance plumbing, leak detection, make safes, general maintenance, roofing, drainage, CCTV inspections and commercial maintenance.

We are looking for a reliable and experienced qualified plumber who takes pride in their work, communicates well and wants to be part of a supportive and growing team.

About the role

This is a full-time position involving a variety of plumbing work across residential, insurance and commercial properties.

Your responsibilities will include

- General plumbing maintenance and repairs.
- Attending insurance make safes and emergency plumbing jobs.
- Investigating and diagnosing water leaks.
- Completing water and gas pressure testing.
- Repairing burst pipes, water services, wastes and drainage systems.
- Completing CCTV drainage inspections and clearing blockages where experienced.
- Carrying out roof plumbing, gutter and downpipe repairs where qualified and competent.
- Clearly explaining findings to customers and the DJS office.
- Taking relevant photographs and preparing accurate job notes and reports.
- Identifying additional maintenance or safety issues.
- Completing required SWMS, risk assessments and site documentation.
- Working safely and following DJS procedures at all times.
- Participating in an after-hours on-call roster when required.

What we are looking for

The successful applicant must have:
- Victorian plumbing registration or licence in the relevant classes.
- Current Victorian driver licence.




- Construction Industry White Card.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in maintenance plumbing.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to prepare clear job notes and reports.
- A qualified and respectful approach when dealing with customers.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
- Reliable attendance and good time management.
- Pride in their workmanship and presentation.

Experience in insurance plumbing, leak detection, roofing, drainage or CCTV inspections will be highly regarded but is not essential for the right applicant.
