Murray Irrigation Limited is looking for a proactive and improvement-focused Quality Assurance Advisor to play a key role in strengthening our governance, compliance and assurance frameworks. This is an opportunity to influence how a complex and essential organisation manages quality, accountability, information governance and organisational improvement.

Reporting to the Governance, Compliance & Quality Manager, you'll work across the business to improve systems, support effective decision-making, enhance governance practices and help embed a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Murray Irrigation Limited (MIL) is Australia's largest private irrigation water delivery company. We manage critical regional infrastructure that supports agricultural production, local communities and economic growth across the Southern Riverina. Our head office is based in Deniliquin, with additional offices in Finley and Wakool.

About the role In this position you'll help strengthen organisational governance, assurance and accountability by:

- Leading and continuously improving the organisation's Quality Management System
- Coordinating audits, assurance activities and continuous improvement initiatives




- Supporting governance and probity across procurement and contract management processes
- Managing document control frameworks, policies, procedures and governance registers
- Acting as the administrator and subject matter expert for the Records Management System
- Supporting information governance and legislative compliance requirements
- Collaborating with stakeholders to strengthen project governance frameworks
- Providing meaningful assurance reporting and insights to senior management
- Building organisational capability through guidance, support and training

Who We're Looking For We're looking for someone who enjoys improving the way organisations work and takes pride in delivering practical, well-governed outcomes.

You may come from a background in governance, compliance, assurance, risk, audit, records management, policy development, project governance, business improvement or corporate services and be looking for an opportunity to broaden your impact across an organisation.

You'll thrive in this role if you:

Experience in quality management, governance, assurance, compliance or related disciplines will be highly regarded, as will knowledge of quality systems, records management, procurement governance or Australian Standards
