Core Talent are currently working with a national building services business that is looking to add an experienced HVAC-R Technician to their Brisbane team.

The role will suit a qualified technician who enjoys working across commercial sites, carrying out a mix of preventative maintenance, breakdowns, fault finding and planned works across a range of HVAC and refrigeration systems.

The Role

n

n
- Chillers, AHUs, CRAC units and FCUs
n
- Refrigeration and chilled water systems
n
- Heating, cooling and ventilation equipment
n
- Electrical and mechanical fault finding
n
- Preventative and reactive maintenance
n
- Site inspections and equipment checks
n
- Installation, testing and commissioning works where required
n
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs efficiently
n
- Completing service reports, work orders and relevant documentation
n
- Liaising with coordinators, clients and subcontractors on site
n
- Participating in an after-hours/on-call roster
n

There will also be an element of assessing works, materials and labour requirements, with technicians expected to identify opportunities to complete jobs in a more productive and cost-effective way.

About You

n

n
- Qualified Refrigeration & Air Conditioning / HVAC Technician
n
- 3-5+ years' commercial HVAC & refrigeration experience
n
- Strong experience across commercial or retail facilities
n
- Comfortable with preventative and reactive maintenance
n
- Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding ability
n
- Experience with chillers and larger HVAC systems highly regarded
n
- Able to work independently and manage a scheduled workload
n
- Current driver's licence
n
- White Card
n
- EWP under 11m
n
- First Aid
n
- Able to obtain/hold a Police Check
n
