About The Role
The Project Officer, PAT, provides leadership and expertise in the implementation of a state-wide evidence based, high-quality literacy and numeracy assessment program and associated qualified learning that guides and informs the development of literacy and numeracy practice focused upon improving learner achievement.
The Project Officer works with the Program Manager and a small team responsible for supporting the implementation of the Progressive Achievement Test (PAT).
The Project Officer works collaboratively across the Curriculum and Learning division providing high level advice on the Progressive Achievement Test, focused on literacy and numeracy improvement. The Project Officer works with the Program Manager to ensure coordination with other divisions within the Department with responsibilities for learner achievement data management and analysis.
Qualifications
Essential:
A tertiary qualification in education and current full teacher registration.
Desirable: Nil
Special conditions
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry.
The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN –EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

Remuneration
STL3 $152,287 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (12%)
