About the role

We are seeking a Refurbishment Technician to join B&R; Recruitment Group on a casual basis. This role is based in Eastern Creek, NSW 2766 and offers the flexibility of casual employment whilst providing essential support to our refurbishment operations. As a Refurbishment Technician, you will play a vital role in restoring, repairing, and preparing equipment and components to the highest standards, ensuring they meet quality requirements and are ready for redistribution or resale.

This position is integral to our manufacturing and logistics operations, contributing directly to the efficiency and reliability of our service delivery.

What you'll be doing

- Inspecting, testing, and diagnosing faults in equipment and components requiring refurbishment
- Performing repairs, adjustments, and replacements to restore equipment to working condition
- Cleaning, degreasing, and preparing components for reassembly or recoating
- Documenting refurbishment work, including defects identified, repairs completed, and time spent on each task
- Conducting quality checks and testing to verify that equipment meets required standards before completion
- Maintaining a safe and organised workshop environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols
- Liaising with supervisors and team members to communicate progress, issues, and completion of refurbishment projects
- Utilising hand tools, power tools, and specialist equipment as required for refurbishment tasks

What we're looking for

- Proven experience as a Refurbishment Technician, Service Technician, or similar hands-on technical role
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to diagnose and repair equipment issues
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools, and familiarity with specialist refurbishment equipment
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality work standards
- Ability to read technical specifications, diagrams, and work instructions accurately
- Excellent organisational and time management skills,



capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Reliable and punctual, with a versatile approach to casual work scheduling
- A commitment to health and safety compliance and maintaining a clean, organised workspace
- Relevant technical qualifications or certifications in refurbishment, engineering, or related disciplines (preferred)
- Experience in the manufacturing, transport, or logistics sector (preferred)
