Port Macquarie Private Hospital is an acute Hospital offering medical, surgical and rehabilitation. It has been a leading provider of healthcare for this community for over 40 years. With 72 beds, Port Macquarie Private Hospital offers a comprehensive range of services including Bariatric, Dental, General Surgery, Gynaecology, Ophthalmology Orthopaedic, Plastic Surgery, Urology, Vascular, Day surgery and medical services.

Join the dynamic General Medical, Surgical and Rehabilitation team at Port Macquarie Private Hospital as a Registered Nurse, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care across a diverse range of surgical specialties. In this rewarding role, you will utilise your advanced clinical skills to support pre- and post-operative care within a modern, collaborative workplace.

Permanent part-time positions available on our General Medical and Surgical Ward and casual positions available on our Rehabilitation Ward.

Skills and Experience

- Relevant registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum two (2) years in a postgraduate experience
- Previous experience working across a surgical or rehabilitation ward
- Demonstrate the ability to assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate care delivery needs of patient
- Exhibits exceptional customer service and time management abilities
- Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment while maintaining positive working relationships with others.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team and independently as required
- Ability to work a flexible rotating roster
