About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join us full-time, delivering high intensity supports to NDIS participants in the community across Newcastle and surrounding areas, alongside providing training and clinical supervision to support workers and NDIS providers. This is a community-based and work from home role only (no facility-based shifts).

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high intensity clinical supports to NDIS participants in community and in-home settings, including catheter changes, suprapubic catheter (SPC) changes, and complex wound care
- Provide HIDS (High Intensity Daily Personal Activities) training and competency assessment/sign-off for support workers and NDIS providers
- Provide clinical supervision and support to support workers delivering high intensity supports
- Develop, review, and update clinical care plans and health support documentation for participants
- Monitor participant health status and clinical presentation, escalating concerns promptly to allied health, GPs, or emergency services as required
- Support incident management and clinical risk assessment relating to high intensity supports
- Liaise with allied health professionals, families, and support coordinators to ensure coordinated, person-centred care
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in line with professional and organisational standards
Essential Requirements
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Demonstrated experience delivering high intensity/complex clinical care (catheter care, SPC management, complex wound care, etc.)
- Experience training, assessing, or supervising support workers in high intensity supports
- Sound understanding of the NDIS High Intensity Daily Personal Activities (HIDS) framework
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (clearance)
- Working with Children Check (where applicable)
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module completion
- Current driver's licence
- Strong clinical documentation and incident reporting skills
