Job Description

- Provide explicit and well-presented data-driven information for effective analysis and delivery of finance outcomes.
n
- Assist in implementing and aligning finance functions and initiatives within the portfolio against the national finance strategy.
n
- Support the Finance Business Partner by providing data and proactive commercial advice to business units and business support groups.
n
- Undertake distinct finance projects as required.
n
- Measure performance against defined standards and monitor results.
n
- Identify and action operational improvements across Finance functions.
n
- Provide decision support from a commercial and risk perspective.
n
- Facilitate effective communication and a finance data-based approach that sustains and continuously improves mission outcomes.

Requirements

n

n
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field such as Commerce, Accounting, Finance or Economics.
n
- CPA/CA (or progress towards) is desirable.
n
- Intermediate spreadsheet skills will be an advantage.
n
- Experience working with management and budget owners.
n
- Sound communication skills.
n
- Stakeholder management skills.
n
