About The Role The Radiology Department at The Royal Melbourne Hospital is a comprehensive tertiary referral service provided by Radiologists with subspecialty expertise. The full range of diagnostic and interventional services is provided for inpatients and outpatients using state-of-the-art equipment. Diagnostic services include plain film radiography, Mammography, Ultrasound, Computed Tomography (CT), Positron Emission Computed Tomography (PET CT), Nuclear Medicine, Angiography and MRI. Interventional procedures provided include all vascular, neurointerventional, gastrointestinal, biliary and urological interventions as well as therapeutic embolisations and image guided biopsies.

Key Accountabilities

- Prepare patients for diagnostic and interventional imaging
- Manage sedation and analgesia
- Perform IV cannulation and administer contrast
- Provide patient-centred procedural support and monitoring
- Provide scrub/scout nursing support during angiography procedures

About You You are a Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration and bring with you:

- Strong clinical knowledge and a minimum of one year current acute clinical experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- A patient-centred approach to care
- An interest in developing your skills in procedural nursing
