Workforce Health Assessors (WHA) offer a range of occupational health services in Australia supporting businesses to manage the health of their workforce. We specialise in employment health assessments providing our clients with timely service to meet their health screening needs.

About the role:

As we continue to grow and expand, we are looking for a full time or part-time Registered Nurse to join our Eastern Creek clinic.

The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering high‑quality, patient and client‑centred clinical care within an occupational health practice setting. The role operates in a dynamic structure of occupational doctors, allied health professionals and administrative support. The role will provide comprehensive occupational health services, including injury management, medical assessments, health surveillance programs, vaccinations and health and wellbeing programs.

The Practice

Nurse ensures compliance with relevant Standards, regulatory requirements, infection control protocols, and practice policies.

We are looking for candidates who possess the following:

- Registered Nurse (Division 1) with AHPRA registration.
- Current CPR/Basic Life Support certification.
- Immunisation certification or equivalent highly desirable.
- Experience in occupational health with a general practice setting would be highly regarded.
- Experience in “Best Practice” practice management system would be desirable




- Experience in conducting employment medical assessments is advantageous
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in written work
- Empathy and sensitivity in dealing with candidates’ health information
- Adaptable and responsive to changing organisational needs
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards
- Robust interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
- Excellent administration skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Suite.

Upon commencement, you will receive training in:

- The conduct of quality Health Assessments
- Drug and Alcohol screening and accreditation

- Audiometric screening

- Spirometry testing
- WHA systems and service standards

Successful applicants will be asked to commit to up to five days of initial training to ensure they are confident and well-prepared to deliver services in line with WHA's standards.

This role provides:

- Opportunity to diversify your skill base into occupational health.
- Develop clinical practice skills in assessment and report writing.
- A national accreditation and qualification in collection of specimens for drugs of abuse testing.
- 5 weeks annual leave per annum
