Registered Nurse Part time position – Lakeside Square Medical Centre

We are seeking a highly competent and experienced Registered Nurse with excellent communication skills.

Previous GP Clinic experience would be ideal but not essential, however, some medical procedure / theatre experience would be a sufficient starting point.

Our doctors and nurses work closely together in a dedicated team environment. Flexibility and a willingness to undertake a range of tasks is essential. Computer literacy is also required.

Experience in Best Practice software an advantage but not essential. Willingness to undertake immunisation course if necessary. Lots of prospect to expand your skills and knowledge within our General Practice Clinic. We are a teaching clinic, so this is an ideal role for anyone interested in advancing their skills with ongoing training and education opportunities.

Duties

· Assisting doctors when needed

· Wound & procedure aftercare

· Sterilisation of all equipment

· Care plans, immunisations, iron infusions

· Maintain clinical records / general administration

Qualifications

Current AHPRA Registration, Working with children’s and Police check

Hours are between Monday to Friday 8.00am – 6.00pm & 1 Saturday per month 9am – 12midday.

No public holidays. A commitment to these hours is a must.
