Our community-based clinic for kids and young adults is 15 years strong. Family-owned, we're known for our small clinic feels, our experienced, supportive Psychologists and our proactive support team.

We have over 30 Psychology clients on our waitlist today, looking for clinical support. A mix of Sessional and Assessment clients available, as you prefer.

All Clinicians are currently at capacity, so our growing waitlist largely awaits a new clinician. A Psychologist who joined us mid-2026 had their 3-day-per-week calendar filled by week 5.

As a therapist working at Child's Play Qld, Holland Park West:

1. You have a continuous flow of diverse clients to choose to work with. The majority of clients are via Medicare.
2. You have complete control of your caseload. You decide your caseload mix, volume and evidence-based service approach.
3. Our support team are PROACTIVE. Our role is to maximise your calendar, fill gaps, care for clients, ensure client attendance and payment, and complete client admin for you. We allow you to concentrate on your clinical excellence.
4. You are constantly supported by your clinical peers, who average 9 years' experience.
5. You are financially rewarded for your professional Registration and experience.
6. We have > 30 clients on our waitlist today, so you have a running start.

A little more about Child's Play Qld: Established in 2011, Child’s Play Qld is a widely respected 6-day-a-week Psychology, OT and Mental Health service. Most current clients are aged 4 - 20 years, with gradually increasing numbers of adult clients. Centrally located in Holland Park West, the clinic is in a charming Queenslander, creating a warm and safe environment for families.

Our experienced team of supported Private Practitioners consists of 10 therapists: 1 x Clinical Psychologist; 7 x Registered Psychologists; 1 x Senior OT; 1 x Mental Health Social Worker. Our therapists have an average 9 years' clinical experience.

Therapists describe our workplace culture as “really supportive”, surrounded by “knowledgeable”,



“empathetic”, and “generous clinicians”. We generally pause client appointments from 1 - 2pm daily, to connect together.

What we ask of you:

Drawing from the strengths of our current Clinicians, we seek like-minded professionals who:

- Hold General or Clinical Psychologist registration with AHPRA (no Provisional Psychologists, thanks, though always happy to share sector information with Provs).
- Are registered with Medicare or have the ability to obtain a provider number before commencement.
- Demonstrate a compassionate, gentle approach.
- Have a strong interest to continue learning in evidence-based modalities.
- Are warm, personable, and capable of working both in a team and autonomously.
