Position: Repair and Maintenance Fitter

Location: Queensland (QLD), Australia

Employment Type: Permanent

We are seeking skilled and experienced Fitters to join our team in Queensland. This is a permanent opportunity with visa sponsorship available (all visa-related expenses to be borne by the candidate).

Key Responsibilities

Fulfil the accountabilities of this role in accordance with the client’s values and as varied from time to time to achieve objectives and business plan outcomes.

Key responsibilities include the following:

- Conduct repair and maintenance per OEM guidelines.
- Manage breakdowns for equipment and vehicles to ensure operational productivity.
- Record and update maintenance data into maintenance software (MEX).
- Able to travel for work.
- Conduct stock take for repair and maintenance-related items regularly to satisfy finance compliance.
- Input stock data to accurately record stock levels.
- Comply with clients’ policies, procedures and instructions to deliver quality and protected services.
- Maintain accountability and appropriate use of information systems and maintain vigilance to comply with record keeping requirements.
- In accordance with the Workplace Health and Safety Act 2011 , or other such Workplace Health and Safety legislation,



take reasonable care for your own health, safety and wellbeing and take reasonable care to protect the health, safety and wellbeing of others.

Formal Qualifications/Technical Skills

- Diesel/Mechanical trade qualification
- Construction Card
- Current Manual Driver's Licence (if field service)
- Computer literate

Knowledge

- Knowledge of OEM guidelines

Experience

- 2 years + experience in a repair and maintenance role
- Field service experience (if not workshop related)
