As a Research Nurse, you will be responsible for coordinating and delivering clinical research activities across diagnostic imaging studies, Theranostic clinical trials, radionuclide therapy research and precision medicine programs. Working closely with Nuclear Medicine Physicians, Principal Investigators, Clinical Trial Coordinators, Nuclear Medicine Technologists and industry partners, you will play a key role in ensuring research participants receive exceptional care while supporting safe and compliant trial conduct.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate participant screening, recruitment and enrolment
- Support informed consent processes
- Schedule protocol-required visits and assessments
- Maintain study documentation and source records
- Manage adverse event reporting and safety monitoring
- Liaise with sponsors, investigators, CROs and ethics committees
- Support monitoring visits, audits and regulatory inspections
- Deliver secure, patient-centred nursing care to research participants
- Perform clinical assessments and ongoing monitoring
- Support participants undergoing advanced molecular imaging procedures
About you
- Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification
- Minimum three years post-registration nursing experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams
- Experience in clinical trials or research nursing (highly desirable)
- Oncology nursing experience (highly desirable)
- Nuclear Medicine experience (highly desirable)
- Good Clinical Practice (GCP) certification (highly desirable)
