About the role The Prospect

You will be responsible for carrying out restoration works from the initial response through to completion, while maintaining high standards of workmanship, documentation, safety and customer service.

Your day-to-day work may include:

- Water extraction and clean-up
- Moisture testing and mapping
- Setting up and monitoring drying equipment
- Structural drying
- Mould remediation and containment
- Strip-outs and demolition of damaged materials
- Fire and smoke restoration
- Make-safe and emergency response work
- Taking photos, completing reports and keeping job records up to date
- Speaking with customers and keeping them informed
- Identifying problems on-site and working out how to fix them
- Keeping your vehicle, equipment and work areas organised

What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work and understands that restoration is about more than simply removing water or setting up drying equipment.

Ideally, you'll have:

- 3+ years' experience in restoration or water damage
- Experience with structural drying and moisture management
- Experience with mould remediation
- Experience working on insurance jobs
- A good understanding of restoration equipment
- Good communication skills
- The ability to work on your own when needed
- Good attention to detail
- A current NSW Driver Licence

IICRC qualifications and a White Card are a bonus, but they're not essential. If you've got the experience, the right attitude and you're willing to learn, we're happy to have a conversation.
