- Support the supply, maintenance and quality of Victoria’s foundational spatial data
- Acquire imagery, elevation and 3D data, particularly satellite imagery
- Support procurement and contract management
- Work with stakeholders to understand requirements
- Provide specialist advice on geospatial imaging and data
- Prepare project specifications
- Support financial and invoice management
- Contribute to quality assurance, product development and service improvements
- Collaborate across government to improve public sector investment in spatial data

Requirements

- Experience in GIS, remote sensing and programming (mandatory)
- Experience managing small to medium projects independently, delivering to agreed scope, time and budget (mandatory)
- Relevant qualifications or experience in geomatics, surveying, geoinformatics, spatial sciences or information technology (mandatory)
- Relevant pre-employment screening and reference checks required
- Must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa necessary for the position
- Ability to deliver projects effectively, prioritise tasks, maintain accurate records and work to agreed plans and priorities
- Ability to manage contracts, monitor supplier performance, ensure compliance and address risks
