Salary: $79,000–$90,000 per annum plus superannuation

Supreme Fuels Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of its service station and convenience retail business in Condamine, Queensland.

The successful applicant will oversee store operations, supervise staff, manage stock and suppliers, maintain customer service standards and support the commercial performance of the business.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and coordinate the daily operations of the service station and convenience store.
- Determine the appropriate product range, stock levels and customer service standards.
- Monitor inventory, place supplier orders and minimise shortages, wastage and stock losses.
- Implement purchasing, pricing, promotional and merchandising strategies.
- Monitor sales performance, operating expenses and store budgets.
- Maintain accurate records of stock levels, sales and financial transactions.
- Prepare staff rosters and ensure appropriate coverage during operating hours.
- Recruit, train, supervise and evaluate retail employees.
- Allocate duties and monitor staff performance and productivity.
- Manage cash handling, till reconciliation and internal financial controls.
- Address escalated customer enquiries and resolve complaints professionally.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety,



fuel-site safety and other operational requirements.
- Maintain the presentation, cleanliness and effective operation of the retail establishment.
- Report operational and financial performance to the company’s director.

Essential Requirements
- A relevant qualification at AQF Diploma level or higher is desirable.
- A minimum of three years of relevant experience as a Retail Manager, Store Manager or in a comparable retail-management position.
- Demonstrated experience supervising employees, preparing rosters and managing staff performance.
- Practical experience in inventory control, supplier coordination, purchasing and merchandising.
- Experience monitoring sales, expenses, budgets and business records.
- Strong customer-service, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility for the overall operation of the establishment.
- Availability to work across the business’s operating hours, including weekends and public holidays where required.

Desirable Attributes
- Knowledge of fuel-site safety, cash controls, loss prevention and retail compliance requirements.
- Strong organisational and leadership skills.
