About The Opportunity

Reporting to the Retail Operations Field Team Manager, you'll play a critical role in supporting our stores through coaching, training and operational guidance. Working closely with Retail Operations and Audit & Risk teams, you'll help ensure our stores are equipped with the tools, knowledge and processes needed to deliver strong operational results.

This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on support, allowing you to make a tangible impact across the business. You'll work alongside retail leaders to improve inventory management practices, support stocktake activities, review and embed operational processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and contribute to safety, security and compliance initiatives.

Regular store visits will see you building strong relationships across our network, providing coaching and guidance to leaders while supporting consistent execution of retail processes. You'll also collaborate across teams to deliver projects and initiatives that improve business performance and create lasting value across all Michael Hill brands.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll support retail leaders through coaching, training and the development of best-practice operational processes.



The role focuses heavily on inventory management, stocktake support, operational compliance and helping stores implement effective retail procedures. You'll also conduct store visits, identify opportunities for improvement, provide guidance on safety and security practices, and work closely with stakeholders to reduce inventory loss and strengthen operational performance.

In addition, you'll contribute to projects and strategic initiatives that deliver broad benefits across the retail network, helping to drive consistency, capability and operational excellence across all brands.

About You

You'll bring experience from a retail, multi-site or operational setting and thrive in a role where no two days are the same. You're a confident communicator who enjoys building relationships, influencing outcomes and helping others succeed. You have a keen eye for process improvement, enjoy solving problems and can confidently analyse information to identify opportunities and drive results.
