We're looking for an enthusiastic, customer-focused Retail Sales Assistant / Customer Service Professional to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people and wants to build a long-term career in retail while representing premium brands in an exciting recreational industry.

Whether you're looking for around 30 hours a week or a role that's close to full-time, we're happy to tailor the position to the right person. As a seasonal business, there are opportunities to increase your hours during our busy summer period, making this an ideal role for someone looking to build a long-term career with us.

Elite Ski Boats is South Australia's exclusive Malibu and Axis Boats dealer. Family owned and operated for 30 years, we're passionate about helping people enjoy life on the water. Alongside our premium boat dealership, our watersports store stocks one of South Australia's largest ranges of waterskiing, wakeboarding and boating accessories.

About the Role

This is not your typical retail job. At Elite Ski Boats, you’ll be:

- Welcoming and assisting customers in-store
- Learning and selling high-quality marine and lifestyle products
- Unpacking stock, managing displays, and ensuring the showroom is always looking sharp
- Processing and packing online orders as well as booking and managing freight collections
- Responding to customer phone and email enquiries
- Handling warranty claims and liaising with suppliers
- Monitoring inventory levels and ordering stock
- Cleaning and preparing boats for delivery or display
- Working closely with our sales and service teams to ensure top-tier customer satisfaction

We will provide full product training – all you need is the drive to learn and the confidence to communicate.

About You





You’ll be the right fit for this role if you:

- Know how to talk to people and stay cool under pressure
- Are confident, well-presented, and reliable
- Are passionate about providing quality products and honest service
- Possess basic computer skills (e.g., POS systems, emails, Excel) and good literacy and mathematical skills
- Are physically fit and capable – some lifting and manual work is part of the job
- Have a strong work ethic, show initiative, and thrive as part of a team
- Enjoy working in a close-knit team and have a good sense of humour
- Are available to work Saturday's from 9am-1pm (especially during the peak Summer season)
