Part Time: 4 days a week, 10am to 6pm or

Full-time: 5 days a week, 10am - 6pm

About the role

As a pivotal member of the USAfoods retail team, you will be part of providing customers with exceptional service, selling a plethora of American groceries and international goodies.

The role reports to the store manager in a fast-paced environment, assisting them with stock management, daily store upkeep, visual merchandising and retail service.

You will help those looking for a piece of home, as well as those who may be eager to indulge in something entirely new.

Key responsibilities

- Greeting customers warmly, conversing with customers when at the register and answering inquiries about products
- Checking out customers at the tills both with cash and card, checking on stock for customers and answering inquiries
- Efficient putting away of dropped stock in the correct place, bringing in back-stock, filling fridges and completing visual merchandising
- Completing with opening and closing procedures
- Assist store manager in organisational tasks eg. Making sure items are correctly priced, checking stock levels in the POS system and fulfilling click and collects

- Quick learner: Positive at picking up and retaining new skills, programs and processes
- Previous retail experience required, previous grocery or high-customer-service roles desirable
- Knowledge of American foods or existing expertise on US snacks or international sweets is highly preferred but not required
