Our factory at Metricup has a busy retail shop where visitors and locals alike can buy our products fresh from the source, plus other produce and specialty items from the region.

About the role

We're looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Store Manager to lead the day-to-day operations on a full-time basis. You'll oversee a small team, manage the store, and help create a welcoming space where tourists and locals can enjoy the best of what the Margaret River region has to offer.

Key responsibilities

- Manage daily operations of the store, ensuring smooth and efficient service
- Recruit, train, and roster a small team of retail staff
- Oversee stock control, ordering, and merchandising of artisanal products, cheese, yoghurt, and other dairy products
- Deliver excellent customer service and build strong relationships with tourists and regular customers
- Monitor sales performance, cash handling, and point-of-sale systems




- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and presentation
- Assist with pricing, promotions, and product displays to maximise sales
- Liaise with the dairy factory production team to stay informed on new products and seasonal offerings
- Handle customer feedback and resolve issues professionally

About you

- Previous experience in store management (food or specialty highly regarded)
- Robust leadership and team management skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Experience with cash handling, POS systems, and stock management
- A genuine passion for artisanal food products
- Food safety certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and peak tourist periods
- A hands-on, positive attitude and pride in representing a local brand
