Main Duties

The Rim Facility Trade Assistant will support the day-to-day operations of the Mackay Rim Facility, assisting with rim inspection, preparation and repair activities. No two days will be exactly the same. You’ll be involved in:

- Blasting and preparing rims for inspection and repair
- Painting completed rims




- Assisting tradespeople with workshop and rim repair activities
- Receiving and unpacking deliveries
- Picking and packing orders
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Moving and organising stock and materials
- Keeping the workshop and warehouse clean, safe and organised

Qualifications

You’ll be someone who:

- Is reliable and ready to get stuck in
- Enjoys hands-on, physical work
- Works safely and takes pride in their work
- Is a good team player
- Is willing to learn and develop new skills
- Can work across both workshop and warehouse activities
- Experience in a workshop, warehouse, blasting, painting or industrial environment would be great, but a strong work ethic and the right attitude are just as important.
