Spar Express Gwandalan are looking for a reliable and hard-working sales assistant to join their team. Spar Express Gwandalan is a locally owned and operated grocery store and is part of a wider network of stores across the Hunter region. Our employees are passionate about offering customers with exceptional customer service and a positive retail experience.

Recent High School graduates/school leavers are preferred for this position.

About You:

- You have customer service, POS and cash-handling experience
- You have a reliable car and drivers’ license
- You are independent, enthusiastic, motivated and capable of following instruction
- Availability to work flexible hours if needed (including early mornings and evenings)

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

- Serving and assisting customers in a professional manner
- Working individually to open and/or close the store




- Upholding store standards of cleanliness and stock presentation
- Attention to detail, the ability to work in accordance with protected work practices and store procedures
