This is an opportunity to step into a genuine leadership position within an established food distribution business, where your ability to lead people will be just as important as your ability to deliver commercial results.

You'll work closely with the Commercial Manager and lead an established sales function across Business Development and Account Management, with the opportunity to make your mark on the team, customer relationships and future growth of the business.

The Role

- Lead, coach and develop an established sales team
- Drive customer retention, account growth and new business
- Set transparent expectations, KPIs and accountability
- Build strong customer and supplier relationships
- Support key commercial opportunities and negotiations
- Bring ideas forward and help shape the sales strategy

About You We're looking for someone who:

- Has 3 - 7 years' sales experience, ideally with leadership experience
- Comes from food distribution, foodservice, FMCG or a similar environment




- Has a proven ability to lead and develop people
- Builds genuine relationships and gets the best out of their team
- Is confident giving constructive feedback and holding people accountable
- Is proactive, confident and willing to challenge both up and down
- Has demonstrated strong tenure and stability throughout their career
