About Enject

Enject is an Australian IT consultancy with more than 20 years of expertise. In an industry often shaped by complexity and sales-driven targets, Enject was founded to take a different approach: focusing on genuine customer needs, solving problems through Cisco technologies, and helping organisations get the full value from their technology investments.

About the Role The Sales Operations Lead owns the end-to-end commercial operations workflow, from product and quote creation through procurement, purchase orders, supplier follow-up, invoicing, order tracking and delivery. You will make sure every order is accurate, commercially complete, progressed proactively and delivered to the customer on time, with clear communication at each stage.

This is a fully remote role, based anywhere in Australia for an experienced operator who can lead sales operations at Enject. We are looking for someone with at least seven years in sales operations or a closely related commercial role, who can take ownership of this function and run it with minimal oversight.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Own the complete quote-to-cash and procure-to-deliver process, keeping visibility and accountability from the first request through to final delivery and invoicing.
- Create accurate product and service quotes, and check pricing, availability, lead times, commercial terms and customer requirements before they go out.
- Raise, issue and track purchase orders, confirm supplier acceptance, and follow up outstanding acknowledgements, back orders, shipment dates and delivery risks.
- Coordinate procurement across distributors, vendors and suppliers, and escalate shortages, delays, pricing discrepancies or fulfilment issues early.
- Maintain an accurate order tracker covering quote status, purchase order status, supplier ETA, shipment progress,

delivery confirmation and invoicing status.
- Make sure products reach customers within agreed timeframes by coordinating dispatch, freight, delivery details and proof of delivery.
- Keep customers informed of order confirmation, expected delivery dates, changes, delays and completion, by transparent phone and email communication.
- Process supplier invoices promptly, match them to purchase orders and receipts, resolve discrepancies, and raise the matching customer invoices without delay.
- Monitor outstanding customer invoices, supplier bills and reconciliations, keeping financial and sales records accurate and current in Xero and related systems.
- Manage the daily operations and sales inboxes, triage urgent requests, assign or resolve actions, and make sure commitments are followed through.
- Keep product, customer, quote, order and supplier data accurate across CRM, finance and workflow systems, including HubSpot where it applies.
- Coordinate software subscriptions, licence renewals and recurring charges, keeping renewal dates, quantities, costs and customer billing correct.
- Prepare commission reports and operational reporting, flagging bottlenecks, aged orders, invoice gaps and delivery risks for the leadership team.
- Support fortnightly contractor payroll, monthly internal payroll and other operational administration as needed, while keeping core sales operations priorities on track.
- Improve sales operations and procurement processes, documentation and controls to lift accuracy, visibility, speed and customer experience.

Experience, Qualifications and Technical Requirements

- 7+ years' experience in sales operations, product sales administration, procurement, order management, quote creation or a closely related commercial operations role,

with the ability to lead the sales operations function.
- Experience in the IT industry, gained at a technology partner, distributor or vendor. Experience working with Cisco is an advantage.
- Demonstrated end-to-end experience managing quotes, purchase orders, supplier follow-up, invoicing, order tracking and product delivery.
- Strong product and commercial administration experience, with the ability to manage detailed product, pricing, margin and fulfilment information accurately.
- Experience supporting the Australian market is strongly preferred, including familiarity with Australian customers, suppliers, business practices and time zones.
- Proven ability to coordinate multiple suppliers and customer orders at once, anticipate delays and drive actions through to completion.
- Strong customer communication skills, including confidence providing ETAs, managing expectations and communicating changes by phone and email.
- Working knowledge of invoicing, purchase order matching, reconciliations and basic bookkeeping or financial processing.
- Experience with Xero or comparable cloud accounting software; exposure to HubSpot or another CRM is an advantage.
- Strong Microsoft 365 capability, including Outlook, SharePoint, Planner and Teams. Experience with workflow or ticketing platforms is a plus.
- Fluent spoken and written English, with the ability to communicate professionally with Australian customers, suppliers, distributors and internal stakeholders.

Soft Skills

- Exceptional attention to detail and ownership of follow-through.
- Highly organised, proactive and comfortable working to deadlines across a high volume of concurrent orders.
- Commercially aware, with sound judgement around pricing, margins, documentation and escalation.
- Calm and solutions-focused when managing delays, competing priorities or supplier issues.
- Clear, confident and customer-focused communication style.
- Collaborative across sales, finance, suppliers, vendors and delivery teams.
- Continuous-improvement mindset, with a focus on reliable processes, accurate data and on-time delivery.
