About the Role

Tokyo Lifestyle is a growing Japanese beauty and lifestyle retailer in Australia, offering a wide range of skincare, cosmetics, personal care and lifestyle products.

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to drive sales performance, commercial strategy, marketing initiatives and business growth across our Australian operations.This role will work closely with senior management and internal teams to identify growth opportunities and support the continued expansion of the business.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement sales strategies and plans to achieve company objectives
- Establish and monitor sales targets, KPIs and performance measures
- Analyse sales performance, product trends, customer behaviour and market conditions
- Identify opportunities to increase revenue, improve product performance and strengthen customer engagement
- Develop and coordinate promotional campaigns, marketing activities and product launch initiatives
- Provide recommendations on product positioning, product range, pricing and promotional strategies
- Evaluate the effectiveness of sales and marketing initiatives and implement improvement strategies
- Work with relevant departments to ensure sales and marketing strategies are implemented consistently across the business




- Support business expansion, new location planning and other commercial initiatives
- Assess sales opportunities associated with new locations and business development projects
- Support the planning and management of sales and marketing budgets

Requirements

- Previous experience as a Sales Manager or in a comparable commercial management position
- Proven experience developing and implementing sales strategies
- Demonstrated ability to manage sales targets, KPIs and commercial performance
- Robust experience analysing sales data, product performance and market trends
- Experience coordinating marketing campaigns, promotional activities or customer engagement initiatives
- Proven team leadership and people management experience
- Excellent leadership, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience supporting business expansion, new locations or multiple business units is highly desirable
- Experience in cosmetics, beauty, lifestyle, fashion, FMCG or specialty retail industries is highly regarded
- Mandarin or Japanese language skills are advantageous due to communication with international teams

Pay: $83,000.00 – $95,000.00 per year
