We're looking for a Engineering Surveyor to join our KierBAM JV 10 Docks Civil Engineering Project team based in Devonport Royal Docks, Plymouth.
n
Location: Devonport Royal Docks, Plymouth
n
Hours: 42.5 Full-time
n
We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.
n
Due to the sensitive nature of the site, BPSS security clearance is required.
n
Please note that this process can take up to 8 weeks.
n

As an engineering surveyor the role will cover awide range of activities, whicharedescribedinthe key responsibilitiessection below.
n
Aspart of the survey team, thefocus of the role will vary during the stages of construction.
n
What will you be responsible for?
n
As an Engineering Surveyor , you'll be working within the survey engineering team, supporting them in delivering accurate and timely survey data processing and modelling services.
n
Your day-to-day will include:
n
n
- Checking and maintaining survey control networks.
n
- Conducting assurance surveys for construction of RC structures; through pre-pour, post-pour checks.
n
- As-built surveys, through laser scanning and modelling of point clouds.
n
- Ensuring survey data is collected and recorded accurately, following project QA/QC standards.
n
- Operating survey equipment to the highest of precision within a civils environment.
n
- Supporting engineers with setting out activities to ensure consistent approaches to surveying and engineering.
n

What are we looking for?
n
This role of Engineering Surveyoris great for you if:
n
n
- You hold a degree, diploma,
or relevant qualification in Civil Engineering, Surveying, or Construction.
n
- You have experience in surveying and construction industries.
n
- Experience in a similar surveying position on a civil engineering project.
n
- Experience with surveying equipment; total stations, GPS/GNSS and laser scanners and experience with survey data processing software; AutoCAD Civil 3D, Leica Infinity, Leica Cyclone and Leica 3DR.CSCS Card and relevant site safety qualifications
