Our client is a widely renowned Professional Services firm which has been a staple of the Australian landscape for decades.
With a dedicated office space in Melbourne's CBD and a strong track record of internal progression, they have also remained at the forefront of technology adoption and AI integration over recent years.

The Role

Working closely with the Financial Controller and wider stakeholder groups you will:

- Manage key accounting requirement including month-end closing, journal posting and compliance obligations.
- Drive commercial outcomes by providing insightful analysis and performance reports.
- Assist with cashflow management by maintaining working capital management and divisional performance.




- Contribute to process improvement initiatives by championing system uplift, automation and technology implementation.
- Work closely with junior members of staff to train, mentor and support their development.

The Ideal Candidate

To be successful in this role you should have:

- Strong technical foundations with the ability to articulate financial concepts clearly and confidently.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholder groups.
- Experience within a Skilled Services environment will be highly regarded, but is not a non-negotiable for this requirement.
- High-level attention to detail and the ability to work within competing priorities.
