We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer (Structures) to join a leading Tier 1 construction business on a major marine construction project in Western Australia. This is a contract role for an initial minimum term of 3 months, working a FIFO 2/1 roster, with applicants welcome to apply from any major Australian city. About the Role

n

Reporting into the project leadership team, you will support the safe, efficient and compliant delivery of structural works across a complex marine construction package. You will be responsible for driving engineering coordination, managing technical interfaces, supporting construction planning, and ensuring quality, safety, cost and schedule outcomes are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Coordinate structural engineering and construction activities on site
n
- Manage RFIs, technical queries, design clarifications and constructability issues
n
- Support planning, sequencing,



methodology development and short-term construction programs
n
- Work closely with supervisors, subcontractors, designers and client representatives
n
- Monitor progress, productivity, quality requirements and project documentation
n
- Assist with procurement, subcontractor management, cost tracking and forecasting where required
n
- Ensure works are delivered in line with safety, environmental, quality and contractual requirements
n
- Provide clear reporting and proactive issue resolution to the project leadership team
n

About You

n

n
- Degree qualified in Civil, Structural or Construction Engineering
n
- Proven experience as a Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer on major construction projects
n
- Strong structural construction experience, ideally across marine, bridge, wharf, port, heavy civil or complex infrastructure environments
n
- Confident managing technical interfaces, site engineering requirements and subcontractor coordination
n
- Strong understanding of quality systems, safety standards, construction methodologies and project controls
n
- Ability to work effectively on a FIFO roster and contribute quickly in a fast-paced project environment
n
- Clear communicator with strong stakeholder management and problem-solving skills
