About the Role
n Limelight People are recruiting Mental Health Clinicians to join a supportive and multidisciplinary mental health service in Bendigo.
n This opportunity is suited to an experienced mental health professional looking to work within a collaborative team providing person-centred, recovery-focused care to consumers with a range of mental health presentations.
n You will work closely with consumers, families, carers and other healthcare professionals to provide assessment, treatment, care planning and ongoing clinical support.

- Permanent full-time or part-time employment opportunities

Roster & Working Requirements
n
n
- Permanent full-time or part-time opportunities
n
- Up to 80 hours per fortnight
n
- Flexible working arrangements available depending on service requirements
n
- Participation in an out-of-hours roster may be required
n
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments.
n
- Undertake risk assessments and develop appropriate safety plans.
n
- Develop,
implement and review individualised treatment and recovery plans.
n
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
n
- Support consumers experiencing acute or complex mental health presentations.
n
- Work collaboratively with consumers, families, carers and other healthcare professionals.
n
- Provide education and support to consumers and their support networks.
n
- Monitor consumer wellbeing and respond appropriately to changes in clinical presentation.
n
- Support referrals, care coordination and discharge planning.
n
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
n
- Participate in clinical supervision, case reviews and multidisciplinary meetings.
n
- Contribute to quality improvement and ongoing service development.
n
n
Requirements Applicants must hold one of the following:
n
n
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration; or
n
- Approved Social Work degree or qualification eligible for Australian Association of Social Workers membership; or
n
- Registered Psychologist with current AHPRA registration; or
n
- Registered Occupational Therapist with current AHPRA registration.
n

- Relevant experience within mental health.

- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.

- Demonstrated understanding of recovery-oriented and person-centred care.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
n
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

- Experience within acute or community mental health.
n
- Experience working with complex mental health presentations.

- Experience in assessment, crisis intervention or care coordination.
