About the role
Join the Multi-Disciplinary Diabetes Team as a Senior Podiatrist, delivering expert assessment and management for patients with acute foot disease and those at high risk of diabetes-related foot complications. Working across North Lakes Health Precinct, Caboolture Community Health, Chermside Community Health, and Bribie Island Satellite community health centres, you will provide high-quality, patient-centred care across a variety of community-based clinical settings.
Working collaboratively with the Diabetes Advanced Podiatrist, podiatrists, orthotists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams, you will manage complex caseloads, provide clinical leadership, support service development, and contribute to evidence-based initiatives that improve outcomes for people living with high-risk foot disease.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values: * Provide expert assessment and management of complex high-risk foot conditions within community-based multidisciplinary clinics. * Utilise advanced clinical judgement and specialised technologies, including plantar pressure and gait analysis systems, to optimise offloading interventions. * Deliver clinical advice, education, and support to colleagues, stakeholders, students, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams. * Provide clinical leadership, supervision,



and mentoring to less experienced practitioners to promote evidence-based practice. * Lead and contribute to quality improvement, service development, and clinical practice initiatives that enhance patient outcomes.
