About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Developer / Consultant to design, develop, integrate and optimise scalable digital commerce solutions.

The successful candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud (SFCC/Demandware) and SFRA , with a strong understanding of eCommerce platforms, integrations and enterprise delivery.

Experience or interest in Agentic Commerce, AI-driven shopping experiences and composable commerce will be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop and implement end-to-end eCommerce solutions using Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC/Demandware) .
- Develop and customise SFRA cartridges, controllers, templates and storefront components .
- Build solutions using JavaScript, ISML, SCSS/LESS and Node.js .
- Design and implement integrations between SFCC and enterprise systems including OMS, ERP, PIM, CDP and payment platforms .
- Develop and consume APIs using SCAPI, OCAPI, REST and SOAP .
- Implement and enhance core eCommerce functionality including catalogue, product, pricing, promotions, cart, checkout and order management .
- Contribute to headless and composable commerce architecture and implementation.
- Support emerging Agentic Commerce initiatives, including AI shopping assistants, conversational commerce and LLM-driven commerce experiences.
- Work closely with Solution Architects, Business Analysts, UX, QA, Product and other engineering teams to translate requirements into effective technical solutions.
- Develop scalable, maintainable and high-performing commerce applications.
- Identify and resolve performance, integration and production issues.
- Support SEO, performance optimisation, scalability and platform stability .
- Participate in code reviews,



technical design discussions and development standards .
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments and DevOps practices .
- Work within Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
- Stay current with emerging eCommerce, Salesforce, AI and Agentic Commerce technologies .

Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce B2C Commerce Cloud (SFCC/Demandware) .
- Strong practical experience with SFRA .
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, ISML and SCSS/LESS .
- Experience developing and customising SFCC cartridges, controllers and templates .
- Experience with SCAPI and/or OCAPI .
- Strong experience integrating SFCC with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs .
- Valuable understanding of enterprise eCommerce processes, including:
- Product catalogue
- Pricing
- Promotions
- Shopping cart
- Checkout
- Payments
- Order management
- Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines .
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies .
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Desirable / Nice-to-Have Skills
- Exposure to Agentic Commerce and AI-powered shopping experiences.
- Experience with AI shopping agents, conversational commerce or autonomous commerce workflows .
- Experience integrating commerce platforms with LLM/AI solutions .
- Experience with Adobe Commerce / Magento .
- Exposure to Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) .
- Experience with Sitecore, OrderCloud or XM Cloud .
- Knowledge of headless and composable commerce architectures .
- Understanding of MACH principles .
- Experience with PWA Kit and React-based storefronts .
- Salesforce Commerce Cloud certifications such as B2C Commerce Developer or Architect .
- Experience with AWS, Azure or GCP .
- Knowledge of DevOps, cloud-native technologies and modern deployment practices.
