Sauna Boat Melbourne is looking for a friendly, reliable and confident person to join our small team as a Sauna Host.

We operate a unique floating sauna experience from Melbourne City Marina in Docklands, welcoming guests aboard for private and shared sauna sessions.

This is a highly customer-focused role. You’ll be the face of Sauna Boat Melbourne during your shifts, welcoming guests, explaining how everything works and making sure each session runs smoothly and safely.

We’re particularly interested in finding someone who is looking for stable, ongoing work and wants to stay with the business long-term.

The role

Your responsibilities will include

- Welcoming and checking guests in and out
- Delivering clear safety briefings before sessions
- Monitoring guest safety throughout sessions
- Monitoring the boat and facilities while sessions are underway
- Preparing the sauna and cold tubs between bookings
- Cleaning and maintaining the sauna, tubs and guest areas
- Keeping the boat clean, organised and presented to a high standard
- Answering guest questions and providing friendly, skilled customer service
- Helping ensure sessions run on time and guests have a great experience

About you We’re looking for someone who is:

- Friendly, approachable and confident dealing with customers
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable taking responsibility and working independently




- Safety-conscious and attentive
- Happy working around water and outdoors
- Physically capable of cleaning and preparing the facilities throughout the day
- Able to stay calm and communicate clearly if an issue arises
- Looking for a long-term position, rather than short-term or seasonal work

Experience in hospitality, tourism, recreation, customer service or similar roles would be beneficial, but the right attitude and reliability are more important to us.

Requirements

- Current First Aid certificate
- Current CPR certificate
- Availability to work weekends
- Australian working rights

Open Thursday/Friday/Saturday/Sunday

Morning shifts- 6:30am-2:30pm
