Mr Scaffold Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Scaffold Estimator/Site Foreman to join our dynamic team in Henderson, WA 6166. This is a full-time position that combines the technical expertise of estimating with in office leadership responsibilities. In this dual role, you will be instrumental in delivering accurate project estimates whilst overseeing scaffold erection and demantles on site.
You will report directly to management and play a crucial role in ensuring our projects are completed safely, efficiently, and profitably.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed and accurate scaffold estimates based on project specifications, site conditions and client requirements
- Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine material quantities, labour requirements and project complexity
- Liaise with clients, architects and engineers to clarify project scope and estimate parameters
- Oversee scaffold installation, modification and dismantling operations on assigned projects
- Ensure all scaffolding work complies with relevant Australian standards, regulations and safety protocols
- Manage scaffold teams and coordinating daily site activities to maintain project timelines and quality standards
- Conduct regular site inspections to verify structural integrity and safety compliance
- Prepare project documentation, reports and correspondence with clients and stakeholders
- Identify potential cost savings and operational efficiencies to improve project profitability
- Mentor and support junior team members and apprentices on site
What we're looking for
- Proven experience as a scaffold estimator or similar role within the construction industry, ideally within the scaffolding sector
- Demonstrated experience working as a site foreman or in a supervisory capacity managing construction teams
- Strong knowledge of AS/NZS 4576 and other relevant Australian scaffolding standards
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural and engineering drawings
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills with the ability to produce accurate estimates
- Competency in estimating software and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to various sites across the region
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors and team members
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Certification in scaffolding or relevant construction qualifications is highly desirable
- Experience with project management software or scheduling tools is preferred
- Ability to pass a medical, police check and security clearances (e.g. Australian Citizen)
