Role Description This is a Full Time - Casual Scaffolders role Yard based in Kurnell, NSW. The Scaffolder will erect, modify, and dismantle scaffolding systems for marine, bridge, and tank projects in accordance with safety regulations and company procedures.
Daily tasks include interpreting work plans, selecting and inspecting materials, assembling scaffolding components, and performing routine checks to maintain structural integrity and safe access.
The role involves working at height and in confined spaces, adhering to fall protection measures, and collaborating with supervisors and other trades to coordinate site activities.
The Scaffolder will also assist with site housekeeping, reporting hazards, and supporting continuous improvement in safety and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong scaffolding skills, including experience in erecting, altering, and dismantling scaffolds.
- Candidates should possess skills in working at height and using fall protection systems safely and effectively.
- Candidates should possess competencies in confined space entry and safe work practices in restricted environments.
- Candidates should possess relevant industry certifications such as CSCS or equivalent, and any state-required scaffolding or construction tickets.
- Candidates should possess positive physical fitness, manual handling capability, and the ability to work in varying weather and site conditions.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of safety regulations, hazard identification, and risk assessment, with a strong commitment to safe work practices.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and teamwork skills, and the ability to follow instructions and work under supervision.
- Previous experience in marine, bridge, or industrial tank environments is beneficial, as is a valid driver’s license and reliable transport to Kurnell, NSW.
