Seasonal Event Food & Beverage Attendant

Flavours Catering Events is looking for experienced Seasonal Event Food & Beverage Attendants to join our team as we head into one of the busiest and most exciting times of the year.

Based in Sydney, we cater and manage events across Greater Sydney, from corporate functions and cocktail parties to private celebrations, buffets and unique off-site venues.

This is a hands-on casual role suited to someone with previous food and beverage or event experience who is confident working in fast-paced environments, takes pride in their presentation and customer service, and enjoys being part of a busy events team.

Our peak season runs from September through to Christmas, with plenty of evening and weekend work available. For the right team members, there may also be opportunities to continue working with Flavours into 2027.

What the role involves:

- Working across a variety of catered events throughout Sydney
- Assisting with event setup, service and pack down
- Providing professional food and beverage service
- Tray and drinks service at cocktail-style events
- Food service across buffets, corporate functions, private events and live stations
- Setting up and assisting with temporary bars and beverage service
- Maintaining a high standard of presentation throughout events
- Providing friendly, attentive and professional customer service
- Working closely with Event Supervisors, chefs and fellow event staff
- Assisting with equipment and event requirements as needed
- Following all Food Safety, RSA and WHS procedures
- Representing Flavours Catering Events professionally while onsite

What we’re looking for:

- Previous food & beverage, hospitality or event experience is essential
- Current NSW RSA is essential and non-negotiable
- Confident with food,



beverage and tray service
- Polished FOH skills and a good understanding of professional service
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Friendly, confident and professional presentation
- Reliable, punctual and comfortable working in fast-paced event environments
- A positive, can-do attitude and team-first mindset
- Strong availability, particularly across evenings and weekends
- Flexibility to work varied casual hours depending on event requirements
- Comfortable travelling to different event locations across Greater Sydney
- Ability to assist with physical event setup and pack down
- NSW Driver Licence is desirable but not essential
