About Dominance Dominance Security is one of Victoria's longest-standing security providers, delivering security services across licensed venues, hospitality environments, gaming facilities, sporting clubs, major events and public spaces throughout Melbourne.

Due to continued growth, we are currently seeking experienced Crowd Controllers and Security Officers to join our team.

Our primary focus is building a strong team of Crowd Controllers for our growing portfolio of:

· Licensed venues

· Bars and hotels

· Gaming venues

· Hospitality environments

· Entertainment venues In addition to venue-based work, successful applicants will have opportunities to work across our expanding event portfolio, including AFLW match-day operations at Collingwood, North Melbourne and St Kilda football clubs, community events and major sporting events.

About the Role

This position is ideal for experienced Crowd Controllers who enjoy working in licensed venues and hospitality environments and are looking for regular ongoing work with a professional security provider.

Duties may include

· Crowd control and patron management

· Monitoring gaming areas

· Managing venue entry and exit points

· RSA monitoring and patron welfare

· Conflict resolution and de-escalation

· Responding to incidents and disturbances

· Conducting venue patrols





· Maintaining incident records and reports

· Supporting venue management and staff

· Providing exceptional customer service For those interested in event work, additional opportunities exist across AFLW and major event operations involving:

· Access control

· Patron screening

· Crowd management

· Event response teams

· Corporate and hospitality areas

· Perimeter security

What We're Looking For To be successful, you will have:

· Current Victorian Security Licence

· Current First Aid Certificate

· Previous Crowd Control experience in licensed venues, bars, pubs, gaming facilities or hospitality environments

· Strong communication and conflict resolution skills

· Qualified presentation and grooming standards

· A positive, team-focused attitude

· Excellent customer service skills

· Availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays

Highly regarded

· Venue security experience

· Gaming venue experience

· AFL, sporting or major event experience

· Supervisor experience
