The company provides innovative products and seasoned analysts to solve Australia's toughest EW challenges – from mission planning support and threat simulator receivers that assist with airborne training and operations — to ground-based counter radio-controlled improvised explosive device EW systems.

Reporting to the Finance Director, as a Senior Accountant you will be part of a high-performing finance team supporting SRC Aus's growing Defence portfolio.

As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for delivering management and financial reporting, while working closely with stakeholders across the business to provide key information to support decision-making.



This hands-on role offers broad exposure across accounting and business partnering within a dynamic, mission-driven organisation.

Key responsibilities include

- Development of P&L;, balance sheet, capital and cashflow annual budgets and monthly forecasts.
- Lead month end and year end close including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare monthly management reports with performance analysis and commentary
- Oversee payroll services including fortnightly payroll processing
- Partner with Project Managers to drive project performance and cost control
- Overseeing accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices and payments
- CA/CPA qualification (or equivalent), with a strong technical accounting backgroun
- 5+ years' experience in a Senior Accountant or similar role
- Prior experience within a project-based environment will be highly regarded
- Strong Excel skills and experience using Xero
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills
- A focus on continuous improvement and finance process optimisation
