Senior Accountant – Business Services | Large Brisbane CBD Firm

Salary: $95,000 - $110,000 package (depending on experience)

Location: 100% work from home.

About you: A current intermediate or senior accountant (business services) in an Australian Accounting firm

The business services team alone is 120 strong, working alongside SMSF, insolvency, forensics and audit divisions. Clients range from SMEs to large private companies and HNWIs across hospitality, legal, retail, medical, agriculture and more.

About the Role

This is a fully remote Senior Accountant position with a large, well resourced firm, genuine flexibility with the structure, training and progression of a major practice behind you.

You'll assist a Manager to manage a portfolio of SME and large private company clients with turnovers from $3M to $20M, across hospitality, legal, retail, skilled services and HNWI groups, delivering both compliance and advisory work.

Key responsibilities include





- Assisting the Manager and Director with compliance for a a portfolio of SME and large private company clients across compliance and advisory
- Preparing financial statements, tax returns and related work
- Assisting with advisory and tax planning work as required

About You

- CA or CPA qualified, or an intermediate accountant with 4+ modules of CA/CPA complete
- Solid public practice background (only those with experience working in an Australian accounting firm will be considered)
- Strong technical skills and a genuine interest in client relationships
- Based in Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast, regional QLD, regional NSW or Sydney
