About Goldfish & Bay

Goldfish & Bay is a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy working across a diverse and growing portfolio of projects.

With a strong pipeline of work ahead, we’re expanding our Sydney team and looking for experienced engineers who want to be part of what we’re building.

Our multidisciplinary approach brings engineers together across Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic, Civil and Fire Services, with teams working closely throughout design, coordination and project delivery.

The Opportunity

We’re currently looking for Senior and Intermediate Engineers across:

⚙️ Mechanical

⚡ Electrical

? Hydraulic

? Fire Services

?️ Civil

You’ll work within your discipline as part of a broader multidisciplinary team, contributing to projects across different sectors, scales and stages of delivery.

Depending on your discipline and level of experience, your role may include:

- Engineering design, calculations and technical documentation
- Preparing and reviewing drawings, specifications and reports
- Coordinating with other engineering disciplines
- Working closely with architects, developers, builders and other consultants
- Attending design, coordination and project meetings
- Responding to technical queries throughout project delivery
- Contributing to design reviews and technical problem solving
- Taking ownership of your work and managing project responsibilities appropriate to your experience

For Senior Engineers , the role will also provide opportunities to lead projects, support and mentor developing engineers, contribute to technical decision making and build solid relationships with clients and project partners.

Who We’re Looking For





We want engineers who are technically strong, enjoy solving problems and aren’t afraid to have an opinion. People who want to contribute, be heard and take ownership of the work they deliver.

You’ll ideally bring

- Relevant experience in Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic, Civil or Fire Services engineering
- A relevant engineering qualification
- Sound knowledge of Australian Standards, codes and regulatory requirements applicable to your discipline
- Experience in engineering design, documentation and project coordination
- Strong technical judgement and practical problem solving skills
- The ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to manage priorities and take responsibility for your work
- Experience within the Australian building and construction industry will be highly regarded.
