- Temporary Clerk Grade 9/10 ($133,348 - $146,945 per annum) prospect until 30 June 2027, based at Martin Place, Sydney.

Expressions of interest are invited from ongoing and temporary employees within the NSW Public Sector who wish to be considered for this temporary role for a period up to 30 June 2027. The role is vacant due to internal movements within the team.

About the Role

Are you passionate about public policy, industrial relations and workforce strategy? Do you thrive on solving complex problems and turning data and insights into meaningful outcomes?

As the Senior Associate, Research, Bargaining and Legal Strategy, you'll contribute to some of the NSW Government's most significant workforce and industrial relations priorities. You'll provide high-quality research, analysis and advice on remuneration, employment conditions and emerging workforce trends, that inform bargaining strategies and support evidence-based decision-making across government.

You will join the Bargaining and Legal Strategy team within the Industrial Relations branch, People and Workforce group at the Premier's Department. You'll partner with subject matter experts, analysts and stakeholders across the public sector, helping to shape approaches that impact thousands of employees across NSW.

We're Looking For





- Research and Analytical Excellence: You can interpret complex information, identify trends and provide evidence-based advice that supports strategic decision-making.
- Industrial Relations or Policy Expertise: You bring knowledge and/or experience in industrial relations, workforce policy, employment legislation or public sector frameworks and can apply that expertise to complex issues and emerging challenges.
- Exceptional Communication and Stakeholder Skills: You're confident preparing high-quality briefs, reports and advice. You can build strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders while navigating competing priorities and perspectives.
