About the Role
n At MSWA, we're passionate about empowering people living with neurological conditions to live life without limits.
n As a Care Support Worker, you will provide high-quality, person-centred support to residents, assisting with daily living activities while promoting independence, choice, and wellbeing. Working as part of a dedicated residential team, you'll build genuine relationships with residents and help create a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment.
n Key Responsibilities
n

- Provide personal care support including bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene, feeding, mobility assistance, hoisting, and other daily living activities
n
- Assist residents with medication administration and monitoring
n
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
n
- Assist with catheter care, enteral management and basic wound care
n
- Encourage participation in activities that promote inclusion, independence, and achievement of individual goals
n
- Report and document changes in resident wellbeing and health status
n
- Maintain accurate records and resident documentation
n
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues
n

Must-haves
n

- Current First Aid Certificate
n
- Current CPR Certificate
n
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
n
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting
n
- A genuine passion for supporting people living with disability
n
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or ability to obtain)
n
- NDIS Orientation Certificate (or ability to obtain)
n
