As part of a high-profile program of work, an opportunity exists for an experienced Senior Organisational Change Manager / Communications Specialist to play a key role in driving stakeholder engagement, change adoption, and effective communication outcomes.

Your new role

Reporting into the Program Leadership team, you will work closely with Project Managers and business stakeholders to develop and implement change management and communication strategies that support critical transformation initiatives. The role will focus on organisational readiness, stakeholder engagement, communications planning, and supporting the successful remediation of data risk and information management practices across the University.

Key responsibilities include

- Developing and executing change management and stakeholder engagement plans.
- Creating communication strategies, artefacts, and collateral to support program delivery.
- Supporting organisational readiness activities and change impact assessments.
- Leading stakeholder consultation and engagement across diverse business groups.
- Developing mitigation strategies to address change resistance and adoption risks.
- Promoting a culture that embraces change,



continuous improvement, and organisational transformation.
- Ensuring communications align with governance, compliance, and regulatory requirements.

What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proven experience delivering organisational change initiatives within large, complex organisations.
- Previous experience within the Higher Education sector.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, relationship management, and influencing skills.
- Demonstrated experience developing and delivering communication strategies and change plans.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences.
- Strong project management capability and understanding of change management methodologies.
- The ability to navigate competing priorities in a fast-paced transformation environment.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience.
