Job Summary

Position : Senior Consultant - Data Quality/Governance

Location: Sydney

Job Type: Contract Role

Essential Functions of The Job

We are looking for "Senior Consultant - Data Quality/Governance” for a contract of 3-6 months role based out of Sydney with possible extension.

Qualifications Basic

Bachelor's degree or equivalent required from an accredited institution.

Responsibilities

- Relevant experience 8-10 years

- Knowledge of DQ standard, guidelines and best practices

- Strong understanding of databases and data structures.

- Ability to write various documents such as FRDs, BRDs etc.

- Familiarity with Basel II, III , CCAR, Credit Risk and other related regulations

- Proficiency in Structured Query Language (SQL) / VBA

- Knowledge of best practices on Process Sequence, Dictionaries, DQ Lifecycles, Naming Convention, Version Control etc

- Designing, testing,



deploying, and documenting the data quality rules and their outputs

- Intermediate facilitation skills with the ability to drive issues to closure

- Strong analytical and time management skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Self-motivated and able to handle tasks with minimal supervision or questions

- Basic level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access

Additional Skills – Valuable to Have: -

- Experience in SAS, Python, R

- Experience on Informatica IDQ or any other DQ tools is added advantage

- Exposure to DG tools such as Collibra, Axon

Preferred qualifications

- Prior data quality or similar level data analysis experience

- SQL and VBA experience

- Experience working in Financial services
