I'm currently partnering exclusively with a major electrical contractor to appoint a Senior Electrical Engineer into their Perth team.

This is an prospect for an experienced Electrical Engineer who has worked across major building projects and wants to take on greater technical responsibility within a contractor delivering some of WA’s most significant projects.

The role would suit someone with strong electrical building services knowledge who understands how projects come together from design and coordination through procurement, construction, commissioning and final delivery.

This isn't a pure design position. You'll work closely with project managers, construction teams, consultants and clients, providing the engineering expertise required to successfully deliver complex electrical packages across projects including hospitals, universities, commercial offices, retail, education, data centres and other major developments.

There is genuine scope to make the position your own, take on greater technical responsibility as you develop and build a long-term career within a major contractor with a significant pipeline of work across WA.

The Role

You will be involved across the engineering and technical delivery of major electrical projects, including:

- Reviewing, coordinating and developing electrical designs, calculations and technical documentation.
- Providing engineering and technical support throughout the full project lifecycle.
- Working closely with Project Managers and site teams to resolve technical and constructability issues.
- Coordinating with consultants, builders, subcontractors, suppliers and clients.
- Supporting design coordination, procurement, construction and commissioning activities.




- Ensuring electrical engineering deliverables comply with Australian Standards, NCC requirements and project specifications.
- Identifying engineering solutions that improve constructability, efficiency and project outcomes.
- Taking greater ownership of engineering delivery as your position develops within the business.

About You We're looking for an Electrical Engineer who has:

- A degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Strong experience within electrical building services and major commercial construction projects.
- Must have contractor-side and an understanding of how electrical packages are delivered from the ground up.
- Experience across projects such as hospitals, universities, commercial buildings, education, retail, data centres or similar major developments.
- Strong electrical design and technical capability, with exposure to Revit, AutoCAD, PowerCAD, ETAP or similar.
- A strong understanding of Australian Standards, NCC requirements and electrical building services.
- The ability to work effectively with project teams, consultants, clients and other key stakeholders.
- The ambition to continue developing technically.
