Our continued growth has created an opportunity for an experienced Senior Project Manager to help lead our next phase of expansion.

The Opportunity

Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will take ownership of a diverse portfolio of electrical projects ranging from $2M to $30M+.

You will be responsible for leading project teams from tender handover through to commissioning, practical completion and defects liability while ensuring outstanding safety, quality, commercial and client outcomes.

You will play a key role in developing future leaders within the business while mentoring Project Managers, Engineers and Site Supervisors.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead delivery of major Defence, Infrastructure and Tier 1 electrical projects
- Manage project financial performance, forecasting and profitability
- Oversee procurement strategy and subcontractor engagement
- Develop and maintain client and stakeholder relationships
- Identify commercial opportunities and variation claims
- Drive project programming and resource planning
- Ensure compliance with contractual, statutory and quality requirements
- Lead and develop project delivery teams
- Manage project risk, delay and disruption mitigation strategies
- Champion a culture of safety excellence and continuous improvement
- Support tender development and business growth initiatives

About You You are a proven electrical project leader who thrives in complex environments and has a track record of successfully delivering large-scale projects.

Essential Experience

- Minimum 8+ years Project Management experience within electrical construction
- Demonstrated experience delivering projects exceeding $5M+




- Experience working on Tier 1, Defence, Major Infrastructure and Industrial projects
- Strong commercial and contractual management capability
- Proven leadership of multidisciplinary project teams
- Excellent client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities
- Strong understanding of Australian Standards and WHS legislation

Qualifications

- Electrical Trade Qualification
- Electrical Workers Licence
- Diploma or Degree in Project Management, Engineering or Construction Management
- White Card
- Current Driver's Licence

Highly Regarded

- Defence project experience
- High Voltage infrastructure experience
- SAPN experience and stakeholder relationships
- Contestable works delivery experience
- Estimating and pre-contracts experience
- Security Clearance (or ability to obtain)
