About the role

Lead the delivery, quality and consistency of Civil Apprenticeships and Careers Ltd (CACL) field operations while managing a portfolio of apprentices and host employers. Provide operational leadership, coaching and quality oversight to Field Coordinators, supporting apprentice outcomes, compliance, workforce participation and continuous improvement across field services.

Key responsibilities

- Own the apprentice employment lifecycle, supporting retention, progression and successful completion outcomes.

- Ensure field operations are delivered consistently, safely and in accordance with GTO and regulatory requirements.

- Provide leadership, mentoring and quality oversight to Field Coordinators.

- Maintain accurate, compliant and audit-ready field records and operational practices.

- Provide operational reporting, insights and recommendations that support organisational performance and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Support positive apprentice, host employer and stakeholder relationships and workforce development outcomes.

- Promote and model consistent, high-quality field coordination practices across the organisation.

About you





- Demonstrated experience in senior field coordination, GTO operations, apprenticeships, workforce development or a comparable workplace

- Strong practical WHS knowledge and ability to assess workplace suitability and supervision

- Proven judgement in complex case management, conflict resolution and stakeholder engagement

- Ability to coach others, analyse trends, write concise reports and maintain high-quality records

- Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety or equivalent experience

- Current White Card and unrestricted driver's licence

- Current Working with Children Check and other required screening

- Mental Health First Aid training desirable

- Leadership and management, Business or related qualification desirable

- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment desirable but not essential
