About the role

United Talent Group is seeking an experienced Senior Finance Manager / GM Finance to join our clients team that are based SOR. This is a full time role that will play a pivotal part in driving the financial strategy and performance of our business that reports into the CEO. This is a private company with revenue - $100 million with branches across Australia but headquartered within surrounds southern suburbs precinct - (Cockburn council).

What you'll be doing (Hands On Role)

- Overseeing all aspects of the Group's financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting and analysis
- Providing strategic financial guidance and recommendations to the executive leadership team
- Experience managing statutory reporting, taxation, audit and regulatory compliance
- Managing the small finance team and ensuring efficient, accurate and compliant financial processes
- Driving continuous improvement across the finance function
- Collaborating with other business units to support commercial decision-making
- Ensuring statutory and regulatory compliance for all financial obligations




- Acting as a trusted business partner and financial advisor to the organisation
- Potentially guiding the company through ASX listing in the future

This role will suit individuals who are finance managers, group financial controllers who want an opportunity to be the Head of Finance for a $80 - $100 million private company.

What we're looking for

- 8+ years' experience in a senior finance role within a fast-paced, commercial environment (Ideally mining services or as a contractor)
- Proven expertise in financial management, planning and reporting
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing high-performing finance teams
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- CPA or CA qualification is highly desirable
