The Senior Financial Business Partner will play a key role in supporting the General Manager Operations and the Operations leadership team at BCI Minerals' Mardie Salt Operation.
This role is responsible for providing timely, accurate, and insightful financial analysis to drive operational decision-making and support cost efficiency across the site. The position acts as a critical link between operations and finance, ensuring that financial outcomes are fully understood and aligned with project objectives and that all Operations financial information is completed in a timely for preparation of management, board and statutory accounts and reports.
As part of this role, there will be a requirement to travel regularly to our Mardie Site.

We are rapidly progressing the Mardie Salt Operation and Potash Project (Mardie Operation), a tier 1 solar evaporation project that will supply high-purity industrial salt and sulphate of potash (SOP) for more than 60 years.

The Role
As the Senior Finance Business Partner, you'll be a key commercial partner to our Operations leadership team, providing the financial insight, challenge and analysis that drives better business decisions. You'll lead operational budgeting, forecasting and cost management, partnering closely with the General Manager Operations and key stakeholders to identify risks,
uncover opportunities and improve financial and operational performance. From production costs and capital expenditure to project ramp-up and procurement, you'll bring a commercial lens to decision-making and help ensure we maximise value.
You'll also own the operational month-end and management reporting cycle, going beyond the numbers to provide clear analysis, identify key performance drivers and turn financial data into meaningful insights for leadership and Board reporting.
With a strong focus on continuous improvement, you'll help enhance our financial systems, reporting and Power BI capability, while driving greater visibility, accountability and commercial discipline across Operations.
About You The successful candidate will have:
- A degree in Accounting or Finance; must be Chartered Accountant (CA) / Certified Practising Accountant(CPA).
- 10 + years' experience in a finance or accounting role, ideally within mining, resources, or industrial operations.
- Proven track record in Financial Accounting in an ASX listed company environment.
- Experience working in resources sector and start up projects, understanding of accounting standards and application in the resources sector.
- Strong financial modelling, analysis, and reporting skills.
- Experience in cost control, management accounting, and partnering with non-financial stakeholders.
The successful candidate will be required to provide a national police clearance that not older than 8 months.
You must have current unrestricted working rights for Australia to be eligible for consideration.
